HP Integrated Systems Introduced at HP Discover
Duncan Campbell, VP Marketing, HP Enterprise Group provides an overview of the newly introduced HP integrated systems, optimized by workload to speed deployment for both virtualized and non-virtualized environments, optimized for ease of procurement, management and long term support.
HP notes that applications and converged infrastructure are becoming much more tightly coupled. Integrated systems can align with a demanding scale-out application – for example using the HP Moonshot system that has been optimized for scalable web services, reducing capital and energy costs.
Speed of deployment in virtualization does not sacrifice reliability on the mission critical aspects of SLA’s with customers. The examples cited of HP Vertica deployments and SAP HANA systems. In addition, HP services are provided to tailor these converged systems to the needs of customers.
The next level in the evolution of the datacenter is the software defined datacenter, all resulting in speed and agility for HP enterprise customers.
