Principal CATM Specialist
HP and Microsoft have partnered to create industry’s leading solution for integrated virtualization and management delivering an optimal private cloud foundation, deeply integrated with System Center, and HP components such as 3PAR, Lefthand and other systems.
In this Interview Jerome discusses the integration between HP VirtualSystem and Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft System Center 2012, a product that contains multiple components that allow links to monitoring and management of the hardware. The end to end solution helps customers to rapidly deploy private cloud, using a single provisioning console for VM’s , apps, storage and server. A bare metal server can be configured in less than 30 minutes, or a cluster of up to 64 nodes can be fully integrated with System Center 2012.
Jérôme MAS has been working since May 2010 as a Principal Enterprise Technology Strategist in Microsoft’s World Wide Enterprise Sales team (also known as CATM) and covers the EMEA time zone. His focus is primarily on Virtualization, Management and Cloud. In his role, he acts as a liaison between customers, partners, sales teams and the product groups at Microsoft. He supports them by delivering vision, defining strategy, optimizing the use and integration of Microsoft technology.
Jérôme joined Microsoft from Hewlett Packard via a short engagement with Dell in France. At Hewlett Packard, Jérôme had different roles including Microsoft EMEA pre-sales consultant, Evangelist of high end SQL Server solutions and Senior Technical Engineer/Team Leader in the Storage Works Division. His specialities include:
· A strong hardware focus including High Availability (Clustering, Mirroring, Site replication)

Jérôme was born in France (Rueil Malmaison near Paris). He studied on Computer Science and Image Processing (remote sensing) in Paris. Since 2001 he is living with his family in Nice, France.
